Question from David: “I have a Canon 60d and a 580EXII, What do I need to wireless trigger it, and how do I go about doing so?”

Tom:  I have the exact same gear and use PocketWizard for my off camera flash.

Timothy: You need either Pocket Wizards or something similar. If you want the camera to do it you will need to go into your menu settings for flash and you should see options for wireless flashing.

Rebecca:  I use Cactus triggers. They’re way cheaper, even though they do have some limitations. So far they’ve worked for what I need. I only use a 420 EX though.

Georgina: Try ebay where I get mine

Sonia: You can put the 580EXII into slave mode and enable wireless flash in camera. No triggers needed.   I have a 60D and 580EXII too.

Robert:  But if Sonia method is IR then bright sun and direction of trans and rec may be an issue

Timothy: The down side with this is that it is still line of sight.

Ellen:  I just upgraded to the 600ex’s so I have a set of Radio Poppers for sale. Message me if you are interested.
