Question from Shaun: “I see a lot of sunset pictures with deep, clear colors…how do you get your colors to pop like that?”

Jaye: Off camera fill flash works really well with sunset pictures.

Kelly: Off camera flash, lots of practice and editing (boosting contrast/colors)

Allie: Some of it is camera. A full-frame camera has amazing color capabilities. Practice and post editing help too

Lesley: I find setting my white balance to “shade” really helps pop the warm colours of sunsets (and autumn)

Wendy: Expose for your background first & then use a fill flash with a diffuser on your subject

David:  I have a 580exII.. how doi get it to work wirelessly off my camera? Do you needa pocket wizard?

Brian; @David what camera? if it has a pop up flash, there is probably a way to turn it into a commander mode to trigger that 580exii

Amanda: @Brian & David- you still need a transmitter, although a 580 can act as a master if you do have another external flash.

Amanda:  After properly capturing in camera, using curves in photoshop, as well as duplicating image & setting to soft light at a low opacity can help pop a little.

Pierce: with the 580ex use the yongnuo rf-602rx transmitter, about $40 on ebay. that is what i use. works nice but will take an extra 3 seconds to reset to full power.
