Pet Birthdays
Not into the messy cake smash? Instead, do a regular birthday themed session, only with pet accessories! You can do this at your studio or outside, but keep in mind that if it’s in a public place, the pets may be distracted.
Puppy Cake Smash
This is similar to a one‐year‐old baby’s cake smash session, but instead you have a one‐year‐old fur baby eating cake for their birthday! If you are getting the cake for this session, make sure it has doggy‐approved ingredients. These days, there are many gourmet pet bakeries (barkeries!), so consider this an opportunity to collaborate and network!
Puppy Milestones
Set this up in your studio or at an outside location, and follow the same milestone timeline for newborn sessions. Only instead of capturing a growing baby, you’re photographing the stages of a puppy growing up! Take pictures on the following: 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, one year.
My Pet and Me Mini Session
Everyone loves their pet so why not offer a special session with them and their pet? Set this up in your studio or at an outside location, or offer these in the client’s home if it is hard to transport their pet. Ideas include:
