Hi! I am Mary! Photography is my second career I started out in the medical field. After 14 years I discovered that creating and capturing images was what I really wanted to do. To me, photography is more than perfect smiles and perfect positions, it is about capturing real life moments.
What is the perfect location for family sessions? Some would say in-studio where lighting and placement can be controlled. I disagree. My favorite sessions are the ones where clients ask me to come to their home.
Advantages to going to clients homes: They feel comfortable, they know their surroundings, they aren’t worried that their little ones will get into something that they are not supposed to . In this session, I was asked out to the family farm to do family photos . Being able to capture this family in their real elements is what helped make this an awesome session . Utilizing what is natural to them and not whats natural to me.
