Question from Shantel: “Has any one done a contact sheet for photos via email? I have a client who I did a wedding for that lives a few states from me who would like the contact sheet emailed. Im still learning the easiest way to make one :(“
Connie: Yes, I made a low resolution pdf from Bridge (output).
Connie: Make sure you watermark every photo!
Matt: The latest version of Photoshop has an automatic contact sheet feature. Just select the pictures, tell it what size and it makes the sheets for you. You could also use Lightroom in the book module and use the auto populate feature with a template that has quite a few pictures on the page, but the issue there is that you’d have to edit the size/format of each picture. Photoshop CS 4 & 6 had the “contact sheet” feature. They left it out of CS5 for some reason.
Kit: Put all images into a folder somewhere, wherever u like, then open photoshop. Go file>automate>contact sheet. Decide on a few settings then boom! Ur done 🙂
Aimee: Agree with Matt & Kit! This is primarily how I have been doing my contact sheets/proofing since I’ve had several shoots out of state.
