Hi! I am Melissa and I am a true mom-tographer and completely self taught. When I first began my journey eight years ago I tried to photograph my clients just like my competitors because I ‘thought’ that is what my market wanted and it was “comfortable”. That burnt me out FAST because I wasn’t being me.
Finally, I let myself be vulnerable, pushed myself out of my comfort zone, and captured what made my heart smile which was capturing the life and spirit of the individual in front of my camera so they can see how truly beautiful they were. Those true natural moments they know so well is exactly what I want to capture and freeze forever.
