Question from Amy: “I have been getting really busy, and I thought that I should know what my images look like in a print instead of just looking at them on a disc. I am about to order prints online of my own work to test out mpix. Is there anything that I should know before I order them? Is there a better place to order from? Do I need to resize my photos in any way? thanks :)”

Chrissey: I order all my prints from WHCC. They do fantastic work. It’s fast and all the prints are beautiful.

Tracey: Once you download their program it will ask you everything for resizing the images. I love them!

Bernice: What does WHCC stand for?

Bridget: White House Custom Color

Amy: hite House Custom Colour 🙂

Stephanie:  I like ProDPI. They have sizing and instructions on their site. They also give 5 free test files (8×10 size).

Kama: Mpix rocks!!

Tyann: I love iprintfromhome.com. superb customer service as well. You can put “tweet – Tyann Marcink” in the referral box and you get free $10 to spend with them. They also have free shipping once you get to $30.

Timothy: Use MpixPro over the consumer Mpix. Simply Color is another great lab with phenomenal customer service.

Beth:  I use Bay Photo…love them! 🙂

Golden Photography: Here is a great article that visually compares some of the major labs out there.http://paintthemoon.net/blog/2011/10/photoshop-actions-why-your-print-lab-is-so-important/

Brittany: WHCC gives you 5 free 8×10 samples do you can see there prints with your images when you sign up.

Jennifer: Just throwing this one out there, I’ve been using Black River Imaging lately, they are a little pricer than Nations, but not quite as much as Millers, and they do great work.

Cindy: We use Nations and Mpix.
